are allowed to offer non-consecutive certificate programmes with academic degrees (f.e. MBA) with ECTS an they are called:

– university programmes for further education (offered from an university)

– certificate university of applied sciences programmes for further education (offered from an university of applied sciences)

– certificate university college programmes for further education (offered from an university colleges of education)

Up to the year 2012 private institutions like Joseph Schumpeter Institut Wels was allowed to offer such university programmes for further education too.
